Rugby, beer, football and curry
Had an eventful weekend. Friday night Geraint was kind enough to drive me to Galashiels for the Borders vs Ospreys match. It wasn’t the most exciting match you’re ever likely to watch but it was good to come away with a win after last years debacle. Was disappointed to find out that the Borders mascot (Flump) had died. The replacement horse wasn’t as impressive. Borders made a bit of a mess of the programme.
Went into Newcastle on Saturday to watch the football. We managed to find a pub with a low idiot count where we could watch the game. Spent the remainder of the afternoon and evening visiting pubs mentioned in the GBG. Drunk far too much beer and managed to almost completely forget visiting Sachins for a curry.
Spent Sunday walking off the previous nights excesses. Visted the Biscuit Factory which would be a very expensive place to visit if you’d just bought a house.
