Rugby, tapas and Alnwick
Very disappointed that Wales lost to New Zealand again on Saturday. The closest we’ve got to beating then in 50 years. Maybe next time.
Next years 6 Nations is looking like an exciting prospect. England, Ireland and France are arguably the best three sides in the world at the moment yet I feel Wales, on their day, are capable of beating all of them, especially in Cardiff.
Went to El Coto on Saturday night. Standard tapas but reasonable prices and a good atmosphere.
Visited Alnwick on Sunday. We’d planned to do some walking but the weather was awful so we had a look around the town. We also popped into Barter Books. Which as well as being one of the largest second-hand bookshops in the UK might also be one of the coldest.
