So near, yet so far
Seriously pissed off with cricket on the Saturday. We were in with a great chance of winning our first game of the season. We needed thirty-odd off 6 overs to win. I was set and feeling comfortable. Hit the first two balls of an over for four, tried to repeat the first shot of the over on the third ball but only managed to stick it down deep midwicket’s throat. Disappointed is an understatement.
