Have you tried the IPA?

I went to see Belle & Sebastian on Saturday night at the (relatively) new Newcastle Academy. They were very good, excellent in fact. Stuart Murdoch has an amazing voice. Their new album The Life Pursuit is out on February 6th (NME review).

It was my 26th birthday yesterday. Mum gave me two bottles of malt whisky. A bottle of Ardbeg and a bottle of Highland Park. Rhian gave me some rather attractive glasses to drink the whisky from.

Edit: Aren’t those brandy glasses?
