Loch Lomond
Rhian and I spent last weekend in and around the Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park. On our way up we visited the Glengoyne distillery. This was the first time I’d visited a distillery. The tour was informative and the whisky wasn’t bad either, light bodied and very easy to drink.
On Sunday we ‘bagged’ our first Munro, Ben Lomond. Only 283 left to climb! Walking down hill was much harder then walking up. I have black toes 
Driving back we stopped off at Doune castle. The castle was the location for many scenes from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Unfortunately I’d left my coconut shells at home.
