The ORPs are finishing the season strongly. We’ve won our last three games taking a maximum twenty-two points from each game and scoring 780 runs in the process. I’ve contributed two half-centuries.
Two great new albums out this week The Miracle Inn from Euros Childs (his third album in eighteen months) and Hey Venus! from the Super Furry Animals. Looking forward to seeing them both live in Newcastle over the next couple of months.

It’s great news that Sophia Gardens is to host an Ashes test match in 2009. It would seem that not everyone is as happy with the decision as I am though. The Hamsphire chairman Rod Bransgrove seems particularly aggrieved.

Finished the competative cricket season on Saturday with a win over Hebburn. Our second win of the season.
