Managed, at the second attempt, to find somewhere showing the rugby last night (The Lodge should be avoided at all cost). An entertaining match though some of the tackling was a bit friendly.
The speed at which they are putting the stadium up is truly amazing me. Very un-swansea like. It did take them 12 years to get started though.
Would have been great to have been able to make it to Lords today. Only 10 quid and an exciting days play in prospect. Not to mention the sunshine.
CCC completed their second win of the season last night. I was happy to bowl my 3 (8 ball) overs for 12 runs as we restricted our opponents to 80.
The White Rock is going up at a fair rate. The glass roof looks fantastic.
Spent Sunday afternoon walking along the coast at Marsden Bay and inland to the Cleadon Hills. There are some photos on the Miscellaneous page.
First match of the cricket season finally took place this evening. We manged to beat Genetics in a tight match which went to the final ball. I contributed to our win by helping to hit 21 off the last over of our innings.
Four matches so far this season. All four called off. Three because of the weather and one because of a lack of opposition.
