You’ve got to love Radio 4. Rhian and I drove home to Swansea on Friday night. At about 23:00 I turned the radio on and caught two excellent programmes. The first was a biography of Joseph Banks and the second was about American Spelling Bees.

Colin Charvis reckons its two-and-a-half hours from Swansea to Newcastle door-to-door. So maybe the storys about the private jet were correct!
My luck with the bat finally ran out last night - I got a duck. Bowled pretty well though 2 for thirty odd. An exciting match, we got the 140 required with nearly 2 overs to spare.
