A weekend in Lombardy
Monday, December 11th, 2006Spent the weekend in Italy. Stayed in Brescia which, despite it’s billing, turned out to have an attractive city centre with some good restaurants and bars.
Enjoyed a ten course ‘tasting menu’ on Friday night. About eight of the course included polenta, which is preferred in Lombardy to rice and pasta.
